Workshop Descriptions

Banner General Navigation

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Learn how to login, understand the meaning of menus and icons, navigate Banner screens, use shortcuts, and modify personal preferences.

FULL DESCRIPTION: Banner General Navigation training is a prerequisite to most subsequent Banner training. In this class you will learn generic information about the Banner student information system. This workshop covers the basic navigation techniques used by every Banner user.

PRE-REQUISITES : User must have requested a Banner account with appropriate security privileges based on job functions. Banner student record data is protected by FERPA which requires users to have a basic understanding of the act. Follow the link below to read the current University FERPA information.
